Good Night Darwin,
Than you for your trust in Implant Detective to identificate the implant/connection of your case.
We are working in your case, but we need some information:
1.- Year of instalation.
2.- Photo of the abutment if it´s possible.
3.- We need to know if the waste inside the conecction of the dital implant is cement or other thing.
All the information is welcome.
Best regards.
Placed about 5 yrs ago.
Mexico Dr. placed composite in implants.
There were no abutments when patient presented in the U.S.
Thanks,
Darwin
Good evening Darwin,
We have been studying the photos you send us, and it seems that these implants have a complete connection to cement, that is, the abutment and the connection is solid.
The threads inside the implant looks like retentions for the cement.
It’s a very strange connection that we don´t usually see.
Yo need to advise your client is to clean the inside of the implants, treat the periimplantitis, and then make a copy with silicone or a material type duralay, pikuplast or Conlight and send the laboratory to make a cemented abutment as if it were a castable pin.
At the end of the implant, there is an hexagon, which get anti-rotation system.
In any case, we continue studying possibilities. The implant is very complicated, probably of Argentina origin (the problem is that there are many factories that manufacture custom implants).
Best regards
